The entire world has heard of Compton, California but the entire world may not have heard of Richland Farms, an oasis in the heart of Compton where African American Cowboys have been welcomed since the 1950’s. The Compton Cowboys are a group of friends who use horseback riding and equestrian culture to provide a positive influence on inner city youth, and to combat negative sterotypes about African Americans in the city of Compton. This video can definitely bring tears of joy to a viewers eyes…we salute the Compton Cowboys and hope they are successful for many generations!
